The full name of GB is gigabyte. It is unit for digital information. Here, “G” represents giga and “B” represents Byte. Therefore, in binary form 1 GB is equal to 1024 megabytes (230), but it is often used in decimal system as 1000 megabytes (109). For example, if we have a file with size 40 GB then it is counted as 40000 megabytes.
