Intel’s upcoming Cannonlake CPUs will be 15 percent faster than 7th Generation Processors
As you know every year Intel represents processors and every latest processor have greater capability better than older than that processor. In this year Intel will announce 8th Generation Processors that will offer a 15 percent performance boost over a 7th-gen Core i7 chip and 40 percent performance improvement for its upcoming Ryzen chips. But they also utilize an updated version of the 14nm node. These processors would be branded as the Core i7/i5/i3-8000 series. According to Renduchintala ( Intel’s VP and GM of Client and IoT), the benefit of high-performance PC chips isn’t lost on Intel. The gaming market is exploding, especially eSports, and demand for high-performance Core i7 chips skyrocketed last year. In past years, Intel focused on increasing performance by raising the clock frequency. However, that approach made chips power hungry. after that their focus shifted to adding cores, which boosted performance but also added battery life to laptops.
According to Intel the 8th generation processor release date would be the end months of this year or may be before these months.
