No Windows 10, No Office 2019
In this second half of 2018, Microsoft will announcing Office 2019. According to Microsoft-, the standalone Office 2019 app will work on Windows 10 versions exclusively, means no windows 10 then no office 2019. The Microsoft explain in their blog :
Office 2019 will provide 5 years of mainstream support and approximately 2 years of extended support. This is an exception to our Fixed Lifecycle Policy to align with the support period for Office 2016. Extended support will end 10/14/2025.
It is expected to add modified features such as advanced data analysis features such as more added new formulas and charts for Excel and visual-animation features such as PowerPoint Morph and Zoom. According to the company the office 2019 apps will be supported on any supported Windows 10 SAC release, Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018 and the next LTSC release of Windows Server. Also, Microsoft said that it won’t be shipping Office using the older MSI installer—the apps will all use the Click-to-Run installer, which is commonly used by Office 365.
